We have spent the last few days just sitting and waiting for our holding tank to arrive.
They told us 7-10 days and on Wednesday it was the tenth day. Kevin was over at the office early morning. They made a phone call and said it would be here Thursday or Friday. Well, it didn’t. By 2pm today I called Heartland and when they looked into it, said yes it should have arrived with them on Wednesday. Ok, it didn’t, so now what? Well we will find out first thing Monday morning, what has happened to it! I have asked, where does it come from, answer nearby.. Well then, where is it and why is it taking two weeks to arrive. I think we have been very patient but now our patience is wearing thin. Our plans had us arriving in Mo today, for a visit with our son and his family. We should be out playing with grandkids now, and here we sit.. I cancelled our reservations but can not make any, since I don’t know when we will GET OUT… Kevin has to be in Mobile, Al to see the surgeon on the 17th so we are kind of in a crunch to get the visit in. That being said , we will make the best of it and head to Michigan City tomorrow. I really want to see Lake Michigan and there is a casino nearby.
Maybe we will get lucky!!

It doesn't make sense that they can't tell you when something is due to arrive (and give accurate information). I would be really upset especially since you are missing a visit with family. I am so sorry...hang in there!

That is nothing short of agrivating. You'd thunk that someone could have jumped into a pick up truck and driven over to Heartland to pick up the tank.
One thing that we've learned over time is that things work out - for some reason it wasn't meant for you to be on the road during this time. So hang in there and trust God - I know, easier said than done!!
Heck, I would tell them you are gonna dump your waste on the cement right there in the parking lot till they get the new tanks in!
(just kidding)
I think I read about a company that makes tanks to spec and ships them out. Perhaps they would have been quicker!

Karen, that is what they have us doing. Dump on the cement, luckily its gray water..
Take a deep breath. I am with Darrell, maybe there was a reason you guys are stuck there.
Hope you enjoyed Lake Michigan and I know you had a great time at the casino.
Hope Kevin's appointment goes good in Atlanta. Guess you guys are flying in and out of there?
See you soon.
